Live, Laugh, Love

e.e. cummings has a saying that states, "The most wasted of days is one without laughter." I truly believe this and am so lucky to have people in my life that allow this to be true! Today was a pretty awesome day filled with lots of laughter. Although the week has been passing kind of slowly, today proved that even during slow weeks a little pick me up makes it worth it all in the end. After getting out of class today at 11:35 (ahh one reason I will always have a fondness for Wednesdays), I had a quiz in Math and an awesome dance class, I had the tedious task of doing game laundry for the women's team. Lets just say I absolutely dread doing this. I was locked down in the basement of Leavy Center for almost two hours. The sun had been shining when I had gone down into the dungeon but upon emmerging I had to put my jacket back on...something I was not too pleased about. Terra called me and we decided to go to the gym which upped my endorphine levels which therefore made me happier (something I learned from Legally Blonde :)). Afterwards we made a quick jaunt to to Safeway and then back to Swig. I got some homework done but as I was looking out my window the beach volleyball court called to me...half an hour later Sam, Jacqueline, Terra, Alex, and I were out playing for nearly an hour! We were welcomed by another group of people already playing so we had a 5 on 5 game for some time which was an absolute blast. Our team, Team Sandcastle so named by Alex, made a comeback in the end and were victorious! I'm sure they thought we were absolutely insane due to the fact we were literally overcome by fits of laughter every minute. I nearly smashed Terra's face with the volleyball, Jacqueline's first serve barely travelled three feet, and Alex is always just plain hysterical. Lets just say I am sure many more beach games are in our future. Now I am off to meet Mariah in the Bronco for Sushi Wednesday before she has to catch a movie with her CTW class. The day is young but I have proven this day not to be a wasted one :)
